Ultrasonic Cavitation

Ultrasonic cavitation

Ultrasound Cavitation is a process where the power of ultrasound naturally breaks down the fat and the fat cell in a localized area of treatment and then allows the body to naturally move the fat, fat cells, and toxins from the area out through the body’s natural detoxification process.

ultrasound cavitation lymphatic massage technology allows for SAFE, AFFORDABLE, CONVENIENT, and NON-INVASIVE removal of stubborn fat deposits that never seem to disappear no matter the dedication to your diet or how hard you work out. The most problematic body areas are: abdomen, flanks (“love handles”), thighs (“saddle bags”), buttocks, inner knees, and upper arms.

Based on low frequency ultrasound, the transducer on the cavitation ultrasound machine sends ultrasonic waves through the skin and targets those problem areas. Cavitation occurs naturally with low frequency ultrasonic waves where bubbles build within liquid that gradually grow, imploding once they hit  certain sizes. Fat cells are not able to withstand any vibrations around them, therefore leading them to break apart under the skin. Since cavitation is completely natural, it avoids doing any muscular, vascular or tissue damage. Basically you lose both the fat and the cell without any change to any other tissue.

Anesthesia is not necessary prior to the use of the cavitation ultrasound machine. This simple procedure can be done within the clinic and results are typically seen immediately. It is suggested to periodically maintain these treatments in order to see the best results.

How long does it take?

Typically a single fat cavitation session lasts thirty minutes when treating a single part of the body.  A minimum of 72 hours is required between each session so the body can finish the elimination of the fat.  For the best fat reduction results, between six and ten sessions is recommended.

What can be treated with the lipo cavitation system?

All areas with localised fat such as thighs, abdomen and the buttocks are the most appropriate to be treated.  The treatment works on Cellulite, the reduction of general fat and for skin tightening.  For Cellulite the ultra sound focuses on the superficial fat tissue.  Best results are achieved when the ultrasound is applied in conjunction with the radio frequency.

Who is suitable?

A full assessment during the pretreatment consultation will determine your suitability.  People who experience cardiac or vascular diseases, carry a pacemaker should avoid this type of procedure.  Similarly, if you are pregnant or breast feeding.  If you are in any doubt, please consult with your GP.

Is it safe?

Yes.  This is a nonsurgical procedure that is non-invasive and requires no recovery time.

Can I lose weight with Ultrasonic cavitation?

Cavitation is not designed specifically to lose weight, more so to reshape the body.  It is particularly effective in the reduction of the adiposity (love handles) that are hard to reduce through diet and exercise.  The treatment offers similar results to liposuction as it removes the cellulite and prevents it from recurring without damaging the vascular system.

What are the instant results I can expect?

Some clients have experienced up to 5cm of circumference reduction after a single session.  More significant results will be experienced after the second and third treatment.

What are the long term results I can expect with Cavitation?

Gradually over a number of weeks, the body will clear down the broken down fatty tissues which will result in a volume reduction of fatty tissues.  It is not uncommon to achieve results of up to a 10 cm reduction in body mass by the end of the course of treatments.  These results will be long lasting, provided you follow a healthy diet and exercise programme.  If you over eat or consume too much alcohol, fat can easily be deposited back in to the body.

How long do I have to wait for another treatment?

The fat is eliminated from the body approximately 3 – 5 days following the treatment, therefore an interval of one week is recommended.

How many treatments will I need?

Between 8 – 12 treatments is recommended, however, you should experience significant results from the third session onwards.

Do I need to diet & exercise?

Drinking water is a necessary part of the fat elimination process so we recommend drinking 1.5 litres of water both before and after each session. A low calorie diet and regular exercise should be maintained in order to aid the body in naturally passing the fat through it’s own natural filtration system.

Are there any side effects to this treatment?

There are rarely any side effects, however there maybe the slight possibility of some transient redness, excessive thirst or nausea immediately after the treatment which can be resolved by simply drinking water.

What are the pre-treatment and post treatment guidelines?

Maintain a low calorie diet for a few days following the treatment to ensure the energy released is properly utilised and metabolised by the body. Drinking water is a necessary part of the treatment to facilitate the elimination of broken down fat.  After the treatment, patients are able to return to their daily activities as usual.
